Terms and Conditions

Befikra provides an online marketplace that connects Event Operators, Activity Vendors, and Tour Companies (collectively called "Vendors") with Travellers seeking to explore, book, and experience verified events and activities ("Services"). We act as an intermediary platform, not as a tour operator, agent, or insurer. All experiences are organized and managed directly by the Vendors.

Befikra's role is limited to:

• Hosting listings of events, activities, and tours
• Facilitating discovery, comparison, and bookings
• Verifying vendor credentials (where applicable)
• Providing a secure payment and review system

You must be at least 18 years old to use Befikra. By using our Platform, you represent that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• All information you provide is true and accurate
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

If you are using Befikra on behalf of a company or legal entity, you must have the authority to bind that entity under these Terms.

To access full features of Befikra (like booking events or managing listings), you must create an account.

• Provide accurate personal details during registration or booking
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes
• Not misuse, duplicate, or modify any part of the Befikra platform
• Verify all event details and vendor policies before booking

For Travellers:

You can sign up using your email address and password, or Google and social logins.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities under it.

For Vendors:

Vendors must go through a verification process that includes providing business details, certifications, and GST/PAN registration; submitting identification and safety compliance documents; and agreeing to Befikra's Vendor Terms & Policies.

Befikra reserves the right to approve, reject, or suspend vendor accounts at any time for policy violations or fraudulent behavior.

Vendors are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and completeness of their event listings
• Setting prices, inclusions, exclusions, and availability
• Ensuring the safety, legality, and quality of their experiences

Travellers may:

• Browse, compare, and book available listings
• Read verified reviews and safety information
• View vendor ratings and certifications before booking

Each booking represents a direct contract between the Traveller and the Vendor. Befikra facilitates this connection but is not a party to the agreement.

All payments on Befikra are processed through secure gateways. Pricing for events is set by the vendors and displayed transparently.

Traveller Payments:

• Travellers agree to pay the full or partial booking amount as mentioned
• Taxes (GST, service fees, etc.) are included or shown at checkout
• Refunds or cancellations are governed by the Cancellation Policy of each vendor

Vendor Payments:

• Befikra deducts a service fee or commission (as per agreement) before releasing the remaining amount to vendors
• Payments are made to vendor accounts after successful completion of events, as per the settlement cycle

Each vendor maintains their own cancellation and refund policy, visible before booking. However, Befikra promotes standard guidelines for fairness:

• Cancellations made 15+ days before departure may receive up to 80–90% refund
• Cancellations within 7 days are generally non-refundable
• If an event is cancelled due to weather, safety, or force majeure, vendors may offer rescheduling or event credits

Refunds are processed only to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. For complete details, refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Befikra prioritizes safety but is not liable for incidents or injuries that occur during events.

All travellers must:

• Follow the vendor's safety guidelines
• Ensure they are medically fit for the event
• Carry required permits and personal gear

Vendors are required to:

• Employ certified guides and leaders
• Maintain proper first-aid kits and safety measures
• Obtain necessary insurance and licenses

Befikra may promote travel insurance options but does not directly provide or underwrite any insurance services.

Vendors listed on Befikra must:

• Provide genuine documents (GST, identity, certifications)
• Ensure that the details provided are true and up-to-date
• Operate in compliance with state and local laws

Vendors found in violation may be:

• Temporarily suspended
• Permanently blacklisted
• Reported to authorities

Users agree not to:

• Post false or misleading reviews
• Harass or abuse vendors, staff, or other travellers
• Engage in spam, fraud, or payment circumvention
• Violate any laws or third-party rights

Befikra reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts found violating these conditions.

All content on the Befikra Platform (including text, design, graphics, logos, and software) is the property of Befikra. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any material without written permission. User-generated content (photos, reviews, blogs) may be reused by Befikra for promotional or educational purposes with credit attribution.

• Befikra does not operate or own any event listed on the platform
• We make no guarantees regarding the quality, safety, legality, or conduct of vendors or travellers
• Listings, prices, and information are provided by third parties (vendors)

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Befikra will not be liable for:

• Any injury, loss, delay, or damage arising from participation in events
• Errors or omissions in listings
• Technical issues or downtime
• Acts of vendors, travellers, or third parties

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the booking in dispute.

By using Befikra, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Befikra, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Any violation of these Terms
• Any dispute between you and a vendor or traveller

Befikra reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after modifications means you accept the revised Terms.

Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We protect your data using secure encryption and never sell or misuse your information.

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. In case of any disputes, jurisdiction will lie with the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
